Thanks to Desmond, we had free tickets to Universal Studio.. We wanted to go a couple of months back, but somehow, not everyone was able to make it so we postponed the outing to 01 Oct (Sat)...
Had a quick breakfast and met up before noon at Resort World Sentosa... The weather was warm and humid as usual..
My baby was tired and grumpy.. wanting to be carried!
Unlike the first time when I was there (6 months pregnant), we really took our time going on the rides, watching the shows, taking pictures with the mascots and shopping at their stores this time round.
This Beetlejuice wannabe is disgusting. Kept posing with his hands on/ near his crotch. Ugly + YUCKS.
I went on both rides at the Galactica Battlestar finally.. Thrilling! Not suitable for the weak hearted.
Baby Simba!
And all of us (even mum) went on the carousel! Can you spot her?
After going on several shows and rides, Sally and I went on to try the remaining exciting rides.. the rest of them didn't want to join us...
Taking a break at Oasis Spice Cafe, stopping for a drink and some chix wings.. while Melvin and I tried the indoor roller coaster at Ancient Egypt zone.
We were all tired and hungry by 6pm so next was dinner at Hollywood China Bistro which serves Cantonese fare...
Desmond ordered so much food for us... there were crabmeat broccoli, sweet n sour pork, sichuan prawns, fish slices fried in beanpaste sauce... YUMMY! And there were also seafood fried rice and a huge plate of roast pork/ char siew/ chix/ duck.
Taste??... I like everything except their roast meats.
After dinner, we checked in to our 3 rooms at Michael Hotel.. showered and gathered for a few games of dai di!... Totally forgotten to take any photo of our very comfortable rooms! So much more spacious when you compare with the pigeon hole that they made us stay in HK!
Next morning...
Breakfast in Starz Restaurant over at Hard Rock Hotel..
There were different types of food to cater for the different races... However, the food items served was quite cheapo.. not much meat to go with the noodles or beehoon... just eggs and more eggs..
After breakfast, we popped by our hotel swimming pool and let Lucas played with water for awhile...
He loves the water but it was too cold as it was drizzling on that morning...
Went home after checking out.. zzz for the rest of the day as we were so exhausted.
Uncle Desmond, thanks for the great outing! (Frm, Lucas)
