After a rather long week... My CEO (super big shot) was in town and was at my office on Thu.. I have my first meeting with him for the first time in 3 years... we have had good feedback thanks to my MD putting in good words for us... plus of course, our HARDWORK too...
I took leave on Friday to chill... so that explains my "long weekend"...
F1 or not... top priority was to hit the Orchard Malls on Friday... The traffic was bad because of the closure of roads... Who say you can only "eat and shop, eat and shop" in Hong Kong? I personally feel Singapore is a shopping and food paradise too! My mum and I shop and eat part of the aternoon before returning home to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........ :-) I bought a new book "Invisible Trade Part 2" and finished reading it all in that evening. The book is about the sex trade in Singapore... social escorts... ktv hostess... the author did interviews with the ladies/ men working in the sex trade plus he also talk to the patrons... I will rate it 3/ 5... I wasn't impress with the writer's style... Not for kids though...
Saturday - I went out with my in-laws to buy jewellery for my wedding... I have requested for a pair of bracelets.. and was quick to find what I want at the Poh Heng in Chinatown... The price of gold is absurdly high! Like what they used to say... must as well rob the bank!... Well, the pair of bracelets cost over 1.3k... I could have gotten a chunkier pair if we bought them earlier this well!Afterwhich, we went to Kalleng Old Airport Hawker Centre for my in-laws' all time favorite Satay Steamboat... You get the satay beehoon with steamboat of (chicken/ pork broth)... You cook the items that you want before dipping in satay sauce... Killer dish to screw any diet! Hahaa!
And....... today... we went to the market early in the morning... I have invited my family over for dinner and intend to whip up a few dishes... I have found this website that shows the old old chinese vampire movies that I used to watched when I was still a kid... YES, that is many years ago....

Mid-Autumn Part 2
I decided to start my dieting after having one too many mooncakes... only to have Dim Sum with my family on Sunday at Lei Graden (Orchard).
Feedback on the dim sum... hmmm... I will let the photos speak for themselves...
Verdict - Dim Sum is good enough, however I have tasted better ones. The chef was frying some carrot cakes near to our table, so we were reeking of grease. They did not participate in any credit card promotion - costed us ~S$20 per pax for about 8 dishes/ items.

With less than 3 months to go before my big day, I know I should be losing a couple of kilos and start exercising... but there is just FOOD everywhere! Everyday and at every corner!

Busy… Busy…
The previous graduation photos of my bro are not posted by me (but by him) as I will not openly call him “Handsome Wong”…. HAHAHA!
Ok ok… since many ppl did say that he does look a teeny-weeny bit like me… I will leave the previous blog entry as it is… Handsome Wong he shall be!
Last weekend was a busy busy one for me. Do you know that an empty house can accumulate ALOT of dust just over a few days… Melvin and I have been cleaning… mopping… packing… followed by doing our laundry… and more washing…. All I can say is that I am turning into a DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE!
I have the ugliest pair of hands now… and weak nails from all that washing… I AM following my mum’s footstep to AUNTIE-HOOD!
Mid Autumn Festival is this Sunday… (I know many ppl call this special day as Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival – PLS get this Right loh… it is called the Mid Autumn Festival)….
SO… with thanks to my 5th uncle and aunt… we are going to have a mini-celebration this Sat at their house! We are soooooooooooooooooo going to stuff ourselves with mooncakes! I have tried mooncakes from Raffles Hotel, Marina Mandarin, Grand Hyatt, Goodwood Park and Grand Copthorne Waterfront … all with compliments from working partners AND I vote the Durian Mooncake from Goodwood Park as my favorite! So Yummy! Have you tried them before?
