30 June 2009 (Tue) - Rustic Cookery

I am back to work today after 3 days of rest… I was sick yesterday and stayed at home to recuperate… abit exaggerating I know to use “recuperate” word… heehee

Got my $200 from Singapore government… hmm.. It’s good being a Singapore citizen… at times lah. I am going to save it and I plan to save a portion of my salary too. Enough of shopping.. I have over-shopped for the last 4 months and spent every single cent of my pay + some parts of my savings too… NO MORE SHOPPING! Maybe better say MINIMAL SHOPPING, more realistic…

These pictures were taken earlier this month... met my mum and sis for 点心 at Yan Palace Restaurant at Hong Lim Complex.



She is paying for the meal...





I took a bus from Pasir Ris to Chinatown... that damn journey was more than 1 hr....



Had century egg porridge...

We ordered more than we could finish...

Afterwhich, we hit the malls at Orchard Road... having a coffee break...

After shopping, we went for manicures.... then we rushed to my aunt place for "Chor Da Di" games... I CAN GET USED TO THIS KIND OF LIFESTYLE!

He is Abble, my aunt is baby-sitting him.. he is adorable but he cries very easily...

Going to catch the Transformers tonight...
