Indulgence - HAMPSTEAD PM
Monday Blue - 25 Aug 2008
We have this very sellable workshop that is supposed to start today... Only to get the message from the trainer yesterday evening that his home got broke into on Sat and his passport got stolen... He is an Australian so he can't fly into SG without his passport... Good Lord!
We have to asked the 19 delegates to return to their work... about 80% of them are from overseas... hmmm.... have to reimburse them the flights and hotel stay... so unlucky!

4bia (Thai Horror Movie)
I caught this movie last Friday with my friends... damn scary! It consists of 4 short stories and I find the first and last stories the scariest of all....
Grab a friend and go catch it now - 4/5 rating from me!

Picnic - 10 Aug 2008
It has been a very hectic week... with work and wedding preparations! I have started working on my guest list for the banquet, engaging videographer and finding my "Ah Yi" (sisters) to help out at my wedding. I have only a few friends and it wasn't easy to finally find the 4 friends who will help out...
Moving on to the picnic on last Sunday... we have such an ENJOYABLE time!
My relatives were early and they "chopped" Pit 64 at East Coast Park...

Beautiful day!

(From left) My 3rd uncle, cousin and 5th Aunt... read on... she was the one who made one of the best "9 Layer Kueh" in Singapore... *in my opinion!

There were much more food... but was quickly finished up before I could take the photos...

Home made "9 Layer Kueh" with compliments from my 5th Aunt... Trust me... Best in Singapore!

My Mum and Sis... from the same mould...

Food time!

Introducing my hubby... I caught him attacking the beehoon and glutinous rice for the 4th time!

My Bro... before we pushed him to join in the soccer game with my uncles and cousins...

While sitting on the mat.. we notice 2 insects digging a tunnel...

Walking to rent the bicycles... (from left) my sis and 2 cousins (Xuan & Jun)

Centre - Ah Xuan... obviously enjoying the bike ride!

After after photo... it started raining... we rushing to return the bikes, packed up and run back to the cars!

I sweared - it always rain when I go picnic!

At my humble abode... watching DVD and finishing the rest of the picnic food...

(Frm left) Me, 6th Aunt, 6th Uncle & my Bro (do we look alike?)

Since we got bored sitting around... we relocated to the famous "Changi Airport"...
Dinner at T2 staff canteen... have you tried the Dumpling noodles before? Yummy! We loved the dumplings... good portion at only $3.50 per plate...

Strolling at T3... before we went "Wang" cafe for kopi! (From Left) my 2nd Uncle and 2nd Aunt...

FIGHT - 15 Aug 2008
For the first time in my 20+ years, I witnessed my uncles fighting yesterday! Not really fighting physically... but was quarrelling intensly with this crazy neighbour...
STORY - We were praying to our ancesters + "good brothers" yesterday at my 4th uncle house... Soon after, my uncles went downstairs to burn the hell notes at one of the bins.... Then there is this guy (probably in mid 30's) at level 2 shouting at them to move the bin to somewhere else... Seriously, I think this guy must be mentally unsound cos there was 4 uncles and he was alone... he kept nagging until my uncles pissed off!
Soo.... they started challenging him to come down... this crazy neighbour threatened us that he will bring a chopper down... and then the cursing started... OMG... damn fierce loh! But he was still sane to a certain extent because he did NOT come down... It went on for almost 20min and other neighbours came out to watch
As I realised that the quarrel was going nowhere... and my 6th uncle looked like he was ready to fight... I went to talk to this guy on level 2 to stop the quarrel and we will put off the fire once we finished with the burning... You know what he told me...................................... He said he understands and he is an "easy-going person"... HAHAHA!... easy-going still shout at ppl for what!
The police came and we filed a report... this guy has got his whole upper body tattooed... we think he might be doing drugs or has been just released from jailed....
My Conclusion - There is alot of Nut-Cases in SG...
Have a fabulous weekend!

Plans for the Weekends~!
Hooray!!! TGIF!
It has been a rather long week... except for my site visit to a certain boutique hotel... work has been monotonous!
The boutique hotel that I visited (don't want to mention name) is Gorgeous... I would like to stay a night at their premium room... the only down side is there is no swimming pool in this hotel... Personally, I didn't appreciate their food either...
So.... Soooo... I was asked today... "How do you celebrate National Day?"... Weird question or not?
How do you celebrate your national day?
Some ideas -
1) Watch the national parade on TV
2) SHOPPING - there are so many National Day Sales going on
3) Watch more TV
4) More shopping
5) Zzzz............
6) Pig-OUT
Like I said... I find that question fairly strange... Viola! You simply carry on with your usual weekend routine...
----------------------------------------
My Plans for this Weekend
I have been planning for THIS for like a month and YES! We are finally going for a PICNIC this coming Sunday! In case you are wondering... NO, we are not going on a picnic to celebrate National Day!
With my uncles + aunties + cousins! Yippy! It was difficult to get everyone to be available and I managed to get 80% of my extended family to join!
NOW I have to:
1) Pray for good weather
2) Prepare sufficient food to keep everyone A-happy
3) Shop for mats and other necessities
I will post the picnic pictures!
