It is the Year of Gloom & Doom so the newspapers say... Fengshui Masters also predicted frequent earthquakes in this year of Golden (Earth) Ox... How encouraging?!
Earthquakes/ Economy recession aside, I still wish for the new year to be smooth going for us... Stay healthy... and there's the saying... "When things get tough, the tough gets going"... so chins up!
I have gotten some nice flowers/ plants for the CNY:
Orange Lilies... my favourite flowers... They are so classy..
A bunch of 5 stalks costs $10.50 from Ji Mei at Thomson Road... They sell plenty of fresh flowers at reasonable price... There is a huge variety available... *Guys, you know where to get flowers within your budget for your date at this Valentine... :-)
We cleaned the house and do our laundry yesterday... as we planning to do plenty of visiting during the CNY... and we had our mini-reunion dinner...
My latest read - Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich.. This is the 14th (latest) book on the story of Stephanie Plum... she is a clumsy Bounty Hunter surrounded by strange and hilarious characters... she is just the opposite of me...
I am joining my in-laws for reunion dinner today... my first time... Shall blog more during the holidays!
